Welcome to Bridgepoint Translations. By using our services, you agree to the terms outlined below. We aim to keep everything straightforward, transparent and professional.
Our Services
Bridgepoint Translations is based in the Alicante region of southern Spain and provides document translation services worldwide.
We currently offer translation services between:
- English
- European Spanish
- German
Services may include:
- Standard document translation
- Certified translations
- Sworn translations
- Notarised translations (where available and appropriate)
We also offer limited in-person translation assistance within approximately 25km of the Torrevieja area on the Costa Blanca between:
- Monday to Saturday
- 4:00pm to 8:00pm
Availability for personal appointments is subject to scheduling and confirmation.
Secure File Handling
We understand that many legal, medical and financial documents contain highly sensitive personal information.
For this reason:
- All uploaded files are transferred using our secure encrypted upload facility
- Documents are stored securely on our own in-house servers
- Access to files is restricted solely for the purpose of completing your request

Confidentiality & Data Deletion
Confidentiality is extremely important to us.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- All working copies of translated documents will be permanently deleted within eight working hours of completion of a paid translation project
- Documents submitted solely for quotation purposes will also be deleted within eight working hours of the quotation process being completed
We will never knowingly share, distribute or disclose client documents to third parties except where legally required to do so.
Quotations & Turnaround Times
Every document is different. Turnaround times and pricing will therefore be confirmed once we have reviewed the nature, length and complexity of the material provided.
We always aim to provide:
- Prompt service
- Clear communication
- Competitive and cost-effective pricing
- Realistic delivery schedules
Estimated completion times are provided in good faith but may occasionally be affected by document complexity, certification requirements or unforeseen circumstances.
Delivery of Completed Work
Completed translations will normally be delivered by:
- Direct email, or
- Secure file download from our servers
Where physical certified copies are required, delivery arrangements will be discussed individually.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing clear and legible documents
- Checking spelling of names, addresses and official reference numbers before submission
- Informing us of any deadlines or special formatting requirements in advance
Bridgepoint Translations cannot be held responsible for delays or inaccuracies caused by incomplete, unclear or incorrect source material.
Revisions & Corrections
If you believe a completed translation contains an error, please contact us promptly and we will review the matter fairly and professionally.
Reasonable corrections relating to translation accuracy will be made without charge where appropriate.
Refunds
We pride ourselves on providing a high standard of service. However, in the unlikely event that a refund is requested, each case will be reviewed individually and discussed openly with the client in order to reach a fair outcome.
Limitation of Liability
While every effort is made to ensure accuracy and professionalism, Bridgepoint Translations cannot accept responsibility for:
- Decisions made by third parties based on translated documents
- Delays caused by external organisations
- Rejection of documents by authorities due to specific local requirements outside our control
Clients are encouraged to confirm any certification or formatting requirements with the receiving authority before commissioning work.
Changes to These Terms
Bridgepoint Translations may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in services or legal requirements.
